SPOLETO CARD: APRIL GUIDED TOURS

Spoleto Card themed guided tours are scheduled every week

In April, four new themed tours are scheduled each week with the Spoleto Card. The tours are organised by Maggioli Cultura e Turismo in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Museums of Umbria, offering an opportunity to explore the historical and artistic heritage of the city and the surrounding area.


Monday 6 April, 10.00 am
Church of Saints John and Paul
A tapestry of frescoes: sacred history through images
The tour will provide an opportunity to examine the many frescoes preserved in the church, dating from different periods and bearing witness to the evolution of faith through the centuries

Saturday 11 April, 5.00 pm
Casa Romana
Otium and Negotium: how the Roman nobility lived
an in-depth look at the daily life of the aristocracy in Roman times

Saturday 18 April, 5.00 pm
Museum of Textiles and Costume
The charm of time: fashion through the centuries
a tour dedicated to the evolution of clothing and taste through the centuries

Saturday 25 April, 11.00 am
Tempietto sul Clitunno
The Tempietto sul Clitunno: a jewel between nature and spirituality
tour organised by Orologio Soc. Coop. Booking required at: tempietto.cultura@orologionetwork.it (free activity for everybody)

Tours are free for holders of the Spoleto Card (weekly and annual) and open to the public at a cost of €5.00, in addition to the admission fee where applicable.

Participation is subject to compulsory booking, subject to availability
