SILENT INK

Saturday 24 October at 6.00 pm: the art of calligraphy in an immersive experience at Palazzo Collicola

Writing becomes gesture, art and memory with Silent Ink, the performance conceived and curated by the artist and calligrapher Brody Neuenschwander. 


On Saturday 24 October from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, at Palazzo Collicola, ten calligraphers will write in silence, bringing to life a journey through centuries of the history of writing. During the performance, the texts will take shape in a unique artist’s book, hand-bound by Opera Lènta. 

An immersive experience to rediscover the beauty of the slow gesture and the value of writing as a record of our memory. 

Event curated by Brody Neuenschwander, organised by Maggioli Cultura e Turismo and the Associazione Amici di Palazzo Collicola, in collaboration with the Circolo Calligrafico Romano.
