INAUDITO

A musical festival amidst the wonders of Umbrian art

From 23 May to 24 October, the venues of the National Museums of Umbria will host INAUDITO, a multi-site music festival conceived by the Brunello and Federica Cucinelli Foundation under the artistic direction of Fabio Ciofini.


The programme opens on 23 May in the Church of Sant’Agata at the National Archaeological Museum and Roman Theatre in Spoleto with the Ensemble Luciminia, performing La Triosonata in Germania for baroque violin, viola da gamba and harpsichord. 

On 7 June, the festival will continue in the Salone d’onore of the Villa del Colle del Cardinale with a recital for clarinet and piano. On 20 June and 1 July,  the Carsulae Archaeological Site, will serve as a venue for two separate events: a violin concert in the Roman Amphitheatre and a Baroque ensemble in the Church of SS. Cosma e Damiano. 

On 26 September, the Tempietto sul Clitunno will host a double bass solo; the following day, it is the turn of Castello Bufalini in San Giustino, with a viola and guitar duo. On 3 October, the Pietrafitta Palaeontological Museum will host a saxophone quartet; on 4 October, the programme returns to the Villa del Colle del Cardinale for a performance featuring voice and guitar. 

On 11 October, the National Gallery of Umbria will resound with the music of Bach; on 24 October, the Rocca Albornoz – National Museum of the Duchy of Spoleto will close the series with a concert for piano and orchestra.

Admission is free, subject to availability. Booking is compulsory via the Eventbrite platform.
