Among the most important evidences of Lombard domination in the lands of the Duchy of Spoleto are the grave goods from the necropolis of Nocera Umbra, part of which are now preserved in the National Museum of the Duchy.
Among the archaeological finds there are jewels worn by Longobard women, such as silver brooches, glass and amethyst necklaces, and gold or silver belt decorations, the feature of male burials along with the typical weaponry and equipment of Longobard warriors.
